Our active contracts use cardiovascular and, in selected programs, multi-organ ultrasound screening. Because the scope of each contract differs, condition-specific rates use the records in which that screening component was documented.
Multi-organ rates use 723 screening records from contracts that included these screening elements.
Findings That Can Support Earlier Follow-Up
A screening result is not a final diagnosis. Its value is in identifying findings that may benefit from physician interpretation, primary-care follow-up, risk-factor management, surveillance, or additional diagnostic evaluation.
Abnormal EKG Results
Among 590 records with documented EKG data, 16.8% were abnormal.
Thyroid FNA Recommendations
Fine-needle aspiration was recommended in 4.1% of multi-organ screening records.
Fatty Liver Findings
Detected in 24.2% of multi-organ screening records.
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Findings
Five findings were identified among 1,030 eligible screening records, representing 0.49%.
Thyroid Abnormalities
Detected in 19.1% of screening records from contracts that included thyroid evaluation.
Thyroid Follow-Up Ultrasounds
Recommended to support surveillance or further evaluation when clinically appropriate.

Our screening contracts are intended to create an accessible pathway from screening to physician interpretation and appropriate follow-up. Aggregate data can also help municipal partners identify recurring wellness themes such as blood-pressure control, cardiovascular risk, metabolic health, and the importance of routine primary care.
